It is already for many years now that Ukrainian Radio has been participating in the international radio competition for young musicians Concertino Praga  that is held annually in autumn in the capital of Czech Republic under the auspices of the EBU. The contest is open for young musicians up to 19 years old who compete in performing classical music on different types of musical instruments. The international jury announces two winners in each category. Сandidate with the best result receives the Helena Karaskova prize.

Among the participants, who represented Ukrainian Radio on this international scene, an Honourable Mention was awarded to:
a young Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova, 2003,
a quartet of young musicians (M.Zaikin, I.Oliynyk, E.Shvecova, A.Gumeniuk), 2010,
a duo consisting of Dina Mukhametova (violin) and Iryna Cherkashyna (piano), 2012,                                                 a young Ukrainian flutist Sofiia Matviienko (2017).
