Every year Prix Europa awards the best radio-, TV- and Internet production to promote and distribute it all over Europe. This organization was established in 1987 by the Council of Europe and European cultural foundation. The prizes are awarded to the programmes produced in Europe by european producers. The entries have to bear features of their culture, to be universal and interesting to people of other cultures.

In 2007 the Ukrainian Radio Competition entry was a winner of the 1st All-Ukrainian Radio Drama Contest - program “Chrematophobia” (author – N.Kolomiets, director – N.Sumska, executive producer – S.Koronenko). Though the program did not win the Prix, it got positive response from the Jury.
