Poroshenko supported the position of the Committee of Voters on inadmissibility of substitution of concepts "electoral system" and "second vote". He expressed hope that the legitimate decision of the court will protect the right of Pavlograd inhabitants to vote.
On the eve the CEC canceled the second round of mayoral elections in Pavlograd, citing the fact that allegedly after the first round according to updated lists the number of voters was less than 90,000. According to the law on local elections the elections are held in two rounds in the city where the number of voters exceeds that amount.
