The number of people injured in the artillery depot fire near the town of Svatove in Luhansk region rose to eight by 11:00 local time on on Ocober 30, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.
The scattering of shells started local fires last night. State Emergency Service crews and military units controlled and put out those fires.
An operative staff involving representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, law enforcement agencies, the State Emergency Service, and national and local self-government bodies has been set up in Svatove.
