The unemployment rate in Ukraine in June 2017 decreased by 17.8% compared to the same period last year, in absolute figures - by 58.7 thousand people, to 330.2 thousand people, the State Statistics Service reported.
It is noted that the number of persons per vacancy in June this year has decreased twice as compared with June 2016, to 5 unemployed. The data are given without taking into account the Crimea and the zone of carrying out of the antiterrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
As reported, the number of unemployed in Ukraine, according to the State Statistics Service, at the end of 2016 amounted to 390.8 thousand people, which corresponded to 1.5% of the working-age population.
