More and more enterprising people from abroad are trying to realize themselves in Ukraine. A Turkish retired colonel came to Rivne region to engage in animal husbandry. For this the foreigner purchased a pure bred sheep in the village, bought an abandoned farm and then hired workers.

former Turkish Special Forces Colonel Sabri Sipahiohlu now smartly manages numerous sheep flocks. In the village Derazhnya, Kostopil district in Rivne region, he arrived a year ago. During this time, the sheep population has increased to nearly two thousand. Turk said that he had long thought about occupation of cattle breeding.
For the needs of his farm he used the premises of the old farm. And the first time in decades sheep and their growing population appeared here again. At this farm they breed two breeds - Romanov and merinos. Sabri does not hesitate to work on sheep farms himself. And he also finds time to even learn a little Ukrainian language , said farm worker Tamara Voznyuk.
Sabri farm in Derazhnya - a debut attempt in the region through foreign investment to revive the animal husbandry, said village head Olexander Pustovit.
Sabri decided not to restrict to sheep breeding only. He plans to take breeding cows ".
