Ukrainians associate the national police mainly with patrols, they themselves became the "visitng card" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reform. After all, the National Police includes criminal police, patrol police , special police, cyberpolice, pre-trial investigation and special police.
According to a sociological survey carried out in May by the Foundation for Democratic Initiatives and the Razumkov Center, 34.1% of respondents trust the police, 5.6% trust it completely, 19.5% do not trust it completely , 24.7% do not trust it, mostly. According to sociologist Irina Bekeshkina, the police have never had such high rates of trust.
The emblem and flag are executed in the national style of Ukraine. The sign itself has the shape of an octagonal star with the State Emblem in the middle. This is shown on the flag of the National Police of Ukraine.
