The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz approved the appointment of Pavel Juzef Stanchak, Technical Director of the Polish PGNiG Technologie, to the post of Ukrtransgaz chairman.

It is reported that now Stanchak is working as a technical director - a member of the board of PGNiG Technologie SA and is responsible for the design and construction of new gas pipelines.
As it was reported, in March 2017, the board of Naftohaz Ukrainy, in agreement with the supervisory board, voted for the resignation of Igor Prokopiv, President of Ukrtransgas. Prokopiv was the chairman of the Ukrtransgas gas transportation company from August 2014.
