In Ukraine, in autumn, internal ID-passports with embedded digital signature will be issued, by the end of the year - mobile identification of citizens -Mobile ID will be launched, as well as registration of marriage and birth certificates online.
This was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman on his Facebook page.
It should be added that the widespread use of electronic services contributes to providing Ukrainians with reliable means of electronic identification. So far, in Ukraine, (EDS) is used as such an electronic digital signature. Therefore, I would advise all Ukrainians who do not yet have an EDS, to issue it. In autumn issuing of internal passports as ID-cards, immediately with the electronic digital signature (EDS), will begin, and by the end of the year Ukraine Mobile ID (electronic on SIM-card) will start working, " a statement says.
As it was reported, the head of the State Agency for e-Government Olexander Ryzhenko hopes that in 3-5 years all Ukrainians will have a citizen ID-card and a digital signature.
