More than forty films created in Ukraine will be released this year, and more than 100 films will be completed.
This was stated on the sidelines of the Ukrainian Parliament by head of the Committee on Culture and Spirituality of the Verkhovna Rada, Mykola Knyazhytsky, a member of the People's Front, reports Espresso.TV.
He recalled that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law "On state support for cinematography", which provides for existence of a series of other laws that introduced changes to the taxation system, the payment of customs duties, delivery of equipment for filming. This is a package of laws that will help support Ukrainian cinema from an economic point of view.
"This year more than 40 new Ukrainian films will be released, and more than 100 will be made. Such a thing has never been in Ukrainian and modern history," Mykola Knyazhytsky emphasized.
