Nearly UAH 50 billion of budget funds was lost last year through corruption schemes or imperfect system of tendering, say the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
This makes 20 percent of the total funds , that were earmarked by the state budget for state procurement last year. That is why it is so important to reform the system as soon as possible, officials stressed.
