Germany delivers aid to internally displaced persons in Zaporizhzhia city

The received shipment will be distributed among internally displaced persons by the state emergencies service and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Radio Liberty reported. “We have recently finished talks, and the total aid amount is over 143 million euros, which will be transferred in installments. German Chancellor approved the credit line in the amount of 500 million euros for infrastructure projects," said the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Hans-Joachim Fuchtel. In cooperation with the Government of Germany Zaporizhzhia city rescuers also received 50 sets of firefighting protective clothes. As reported, 66,743 internally displaced persons were registered in the Zaporizhzhia region as of November 16. According to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine data, more than 1.5 million internally displaced persons are registered in Ukraine from Donbas and Crimea.
