The first of these three-hour meetings has already taken place with the involvement of Batkivschyna Party leader and ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko. "I appeal to the parliamentary factions that are ready to take active part in preparation of the national budget and changes to the tax, customs and, in general, economic policy for 2016, and make the decision on holding meetings with the IMF," Yatseniuk said, opening a cabinet meeting in Kyiv. He expressed confidence that the national budget for 2016 will be adopted soon. According to him, the government also supported the proposals of the Ministry of Finance to change tax and customs policies. Together with them, the Verkhovna Rada will also receive draft legislative changes on health, education, privatization, and public procurement. "We need a joint political will to demonstrate that Ukraine is not leaving the way of correct economic reforms for the country," Yatseniuk said.
