Naftogaz, Gazprom increase mutual claims to $25.7 bln, $29.2 bln respectively

According to a company quarterly report, the state holding is seeking compensation under the contract for natural gas supply for an over-payment of $14 billion, whereas previously, its demand under the contract amounted to $12 billion. In addition, Naftogaz's fiscal claims against Gazprom on the contract for gas transit amount to $11.7 billion, which in general, taking into account the two contracts, is $25.7 billion. The report also states that in June 2015, Gazprom updated its claim under the contract for gas supply, increasing its demand from $26.7 billion to $29.2 billion.
