Council of Europe welcomes media reforms in Ukraine

He also welcomed the revision of the law on audiovisual services, the launch of the public broadcasting service under European standards, measures to strengthen the potential of the institution of ombudsperson in access to public information and protection of personal data, as well as the further development of the potential of the national commission for television and radio broadcasting via designing methods for media monitoring.
