Kurz and Klimkin met on the sidelines of the 22nd sitting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade, during which the parties discussed an implementation of the Minsk Agreements on settling the eastern Ukraine conflict. Klimkin also informed his Austrian counterpart on a current situation in Donbas, namely the number of the Russian armament and Russian armed forces deployed on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, "without withdrawal of which implementation of the Minsk Agreements, stabilization of the situation in Ukraine, and free elections in Donbas are impossible."
