The Ukrainian government submitted a draft national budget for 2016 to parliament on Friday, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"Today the government has tabled a bill on the national budget in parliament," he said during the government's questions & answers session at the Verkhovna Rada on December 8.
This document in 2016 stipulates that social standards will rise by 12%, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk during his speech in Parliament. He estimates that this growth will offset the increase in prices, which is expected next year.
He admitted that the government failed to do it in 2015: inflation this year amounted to 42%, and social standards have risen only by 13%.
