By 2019 th Ukraine with the support of NATO will defang more than 360 thousand units of light weapons and small arms, 70,000 tons of ammunition and nearly three and a half million anti-personnel mines PFM-1 left since the Second World War. This was disclosed by First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuriy Gusev. He explained that such work is carried out within the second phase of the NATO's Transfer fund project aimed at the destruction of the above weapons. In addition, almost one million euros will be provided for re disposing of radioactive waste.
