Yatsenyuk reveals Ukraine’s sanctions against Russia

"The Government of Ukraine submitted the bill on sanctions to the Parliament. Ukraine obtained the mechanism of sanctions for the first time in its history. In September last year, the Cabinet approved the list of sectoral and individual sanctions against Russia. The Ukrainian Government filed several lawsuits against the Russian Federation for the illegal annexation of Crimea in the European Court of Human Rights," Yatsenyuk said. The Prime Minister added that Ukraine actually gave up the Russian gas monopoly in its territory. Yatsenyuk also reminded that Ukraine had closed its airspace for the Russian aircraft and filed the lawsuit against Russia with the WTO.
