Situation in Ukraine is a priority for Dutch presidency in EU – Dutch FM

"During our presidency the situation in Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk-2 agreements will be key issues," said the head of the Dutch Foreign Ministry. He noted that the Netherlands will assist in implementing reforms in Ukraine to ensure the proper organization of elections in some territories in Donbas in compliance with the Ukrainian legislation. "It is extremely important that we support the reform process in Ukraine. Over the past years, Ukraine had had a negative situation in this sphere. But now it is trying to reform itself," the minister said. Koenders has emphasized that stabilization of domestic situation in Ukraine is also essential.
