25 public enterprises, to which foreign strategic investors have expressed interest are to become objects of big privatization planned to start in Ukraine this year.
This was stated by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavičius. He stressed that start to big privatization will be given by the Parliament after adopting the set of laws that will allow to cancel a number of rules that have signs of corruption.
Earlier, the State Property Fund Chairman Igor Bilous said that in case of successful privatization Ukraine can bail out about UAH 30 billion to replenish the budget.
