Ukraine saves UAH 45 bln due to e-procurement - Poroshenko

"In an extremely short period we've saved UAH 45 billion of public funds due to the system of electronic purchases," the president said, opening a hospital in Volodymyrets, Rivne region. According to him, this saving is especially notable for the Defense Ministry, in which an e-procurement system was introduced with the help of volunteers. "We buy portable radio sets UAH 40 million remains, food UAH 270 million remains, clothing, new military uniform UAH 120 million. And this is a higher quality, more powerful and non-corrupt country," the head of state said.
