The session of the European Parliament will take place in Strasbourg on 1-4 February. MEPs will discuss the situation of democracy and human rights in the world.
Among the topics: "The situation of human rights in Crimea, especially the situation about the Crimean Tatars," the press service of the European Parliament reports. After the annexation of Crimea by Russia, many violations of the rights were recorded on the peninsula of indigenous people of Crimean Tatars, namely harassment, arrests and detention, violence and murder.
