Jaresko says of risks for Ukraine if government resigns

The International Monetary Fund will take a pause in lending under the Extended Fund Facility Program (EFF) if the Ukrainian government resigns, and will continue only when a new government is ready to fulfill the commitments undertaken by the former government, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko said during the Svoboda Slova program on ICTV.

In her words, cooperation with the IMF is of critical importance for Ukraine now, as there are no other lenders that are ready to give Ukraine funds for such a long term and at such low rates.
