Information of visits of the FSB, including arrests of people comes from Yalta, Alushta, Bakhchisarai. This was informed by Crimean lawyer Emile Kurbedinov on his Facebook page.
After the annexation of Crimea by Russia searches are often held in homes of pro-Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar activists with participation of Russian special services. This is regularly reported by international human rights organizations.
On February 4 the European Parliament adopted a resolution which condemned the unprecedented level of violation of human rights of Crimean Tatars in the occupied peninsula.
