Another 15 Russian TV channels withdrawn from Ukrainian network

Fifteen Russian TV channels that are relayed by the Ukrainian domestic cable channels, were withdrawn from networks by the National Council on Television and Radio. The regulator argued that they not being signatories of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, should operate abiding requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
Violations of these rules were identified during the monitoring of these channels broadcast held from the sixteenth to the twenty-eighth of January. The decision that was approved by the National Council will enter into force one month after its publication, until providers have chance to organize their content for repeated monitoring.
