Ukraine needs to develop new language law, which will reflect the real state of Ukrainian language and will provide measures for its development in the media, advertising and film.
This was stated during a meeting of the "round table" on the occasion of International Mother Language Day by Deputy Prime Minister and Culture Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko. He added that parliamentarians, the public and the scientific community should be involved in dealing with these issue because discussion on the language situation in Ukraine is a sensitive topic.
