Poroshenko stressed the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia until it has fulfilled the Minsk agreements. This is what the Head of State said at a meeting with Jean-Marc Herault and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who arrived in Kyiv on the eve.
Poroshenko expressed concern about numerous violations of the ceasefire by militants controlled by Russia, as well as their use of banned weapons. The President stressed the importance of access of OSCE observers to all areas of the occupied territories and the Ukrainian-Russian border.
The interlocutors also discussed the possibility of placing the Donbass international security mission and noted the need for political will on the part of Russia to stop attacks.
