“In spite of the fact that MPs have introduced a range of disappointing amendments to the current anti-corruption legislation, which in fact have procrastinated the launch of e-system, the government and the Justice Ministry believe that this system will start operating this year, and we are fully institutionally ready for this,” Petrenko said at a government sitting on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports. Thus, according to him, in the middle of March, the Justice Ministry together with the European partners will present the soft and the program of e-declarations, which is being elaborated by USAID experts, to the government. In addition the minister said that nothing was spent from the Ukrainian budget for their production. “This means that the program is being elaborated fully at the expense of our European partners. It will be presented on March 15-20 and it will be launched as soon as the National Anticorruption Agency start operating,” the minister stressed.
