"The fact of the incident has been included into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations as under Article 115 Part 1 ('premeditated murder') of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Now the crime scene examination is still underway. The police are acting to identify and interrogate eyewitnesses, and to collect physical evidence," the press service of the Kharkiv regional national police directorate reported. At 9am on Friday, the police received a report that a man's body with a gunshot wound to the head was found at one of Kharkiv's graveyards. An informed source told Interfax earlier, that Diment was shot dead on Friday morning at the cemetery where his mother was buried. Diment was close to the mayor of Kharkiv, Hennadiy Kernes. The local media reported earlier that he and parliament member, Mykhailo Dobkin, had organized the fundraising campaign among local business people to pay for Kernes' surgical treatment in Israel.
