Activists of the rally that was held near the Presential Administration demanded holding in Ukraine of transparent competition for the election of the Prosecutor General and resignation of the current Attorney General Victor Shokin.
Lawyers of families of "Heavenly Hundred" who participated in the meeting, handed over corresponding appeal to the Presidential Administration. It was received by Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Rostislav Pavlenko.
The latter said that the issues raised will be considered on March 29, he also clarified the situation surrounding the withdrawal from the personnel of the General Prosecutor's Office of so-called David Sakvarelidze team - a group that worked on the case of infamous "Diamond prosecutors."
