Presidents' meeting: Ukraine, US to develop strategic partnership

The heads of states discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine and Russia-occupied Crimea and coordinated efforts for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia, the report said. The presidents also discussed the development of strategic partnership between the two countries. “Special attention was paid to the need for immediate creation of a coalition and government in Ukraine aimed at reforms,” the report said. While on his visit to the US, Poroshenko also met with Secretary of State John Kerry who spoke about the details of his recent talks in Minsk.
