Obama said the US will continue to support Ukraine, which is suffering from the invasion of its territory. It is reported by "Voice of America".
The United States assured that America will assist Ukraine to develop military defense potential, and adhere to commitments given to partners in the North Atlantic Alliance.
These statements were made after the meeting of Head of the White House with NATO Secretary General Yens Stoltenberg. Answering a question, Obama stressed that the US and NATO are working with Russia with a view to reduce tension and the potential escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
