“The Foreign Ministry of Lithuania has allocated 50,000 euros of humanitarian aid to Ukraine,” reads the report. The funds will be transferred to the World Health Organization’s account in order to provide the integrated and urgent health services and food to the Ukrainian citizens suffered as a result of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, as well as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to educate Ukrainian children how to avoid the danger of being blown up by a mine. The ministry also noted that Lithuania in such a way is contributing to the international community’s efforts in providing urgent humanitarian aid to Ukraine and saving about 3.1 million residents of the conflict zone or those injured as a result of the conflict.
