"This and next year the Federal government will support Malteser International in the implementation of its humanitarian aid projects providing psychosocial help for people touched by the conflict in eastern Ukraine. The government is providing almost EUR 900,000 now," the embassy said. The German government last year provided EUR 300,000 for this project. The funds were sent not only to provide help to the victims of the conflict, but also to train representatives of local authorities and charitable organizations.
