Protesters demanding resignation of Odesa Mayor

Indefinite picket for the resignation of Mayor Gennady Trukhanov continues at the building of the Odessa City Council. The action began a few days ago. It involved mostly euromaidan activists and entrepreneurs. Earlier media reported that allegedly Truhanov at the time of official registration of offshore companies at Virgin Islands indicated not Ukrainian but Russian citizenship in all registration documents. The question was about more than 20 companies related to the Odessa mayor and his inner circle. Truhanov himself denies that he has Russian citizenship.
