Separatists launch 30 attacks on government troops over past day

The militants used mortars, machine guns and grenade launchers to fire at Ukrainian army positions in mostly surrounding the separatist-held Donetsk, said the Friday report. The tense situation was observed in Luhansk region as well. The Ukrainian army sustained no losses over the past 24 hours in eastern Ukraine, although two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, Presidential Administration military spokesman Andriy Lysenko told a briefing on Friday.
