President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that Russia has agreed to deploy an OSCE police armed mission in Donbas.
According to him, to this reason a special new police armed mission should be sent to provide security. Member of the new OSCE mission should be able to protect themselves, the president said.
Poroshenko said the mission is meant to provide security, as well as to help prepare for and conduct local elections. They can also be used to help inaugurate newly elected Donbas representatives, the president said.
