According to the report, the separatists opened fire 29 times, including "20 instances of shelling, recorded between 6:00 p.m. and midnight." They used high-calibre mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, with attacks on villages surrounding Donetsk, near Mariupol, and in Luhansk region. One Ukrainian serviceman has been injured in the hostilities over the past day, presidential administration military spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk has said.
