France, Germany want to step up international presence in east Ukraine

"There is a need for an additional international presence on the ground [in Donbas] under the auspices of the OSCE. We and our German colleagues are thinking about the establishment of such a mechanism," Delattre said. He stressed that France and Germany were committed to settling the crisis in Ukraine, restorating its sovereignty and the integrity of borders and promised to continue efforts within the framework of the Normandy format.
