The Working Group of the European Council on May 11 will consider a proposal to grant Ukraine visa-free regime. The meeting will be held at expert level. Then on May 20 the issue of visa-free regime for Ukraine is to be considered at the ministerial level.
The European Commission gave the European Parliament and the EU Council recommendations to abolish visas for Ukrainian in late April. This became possible after confirmation that the Kyiv fulfilled all the criteria under the Action Plan towards visa liberalization.
