The vote was supported by 265 MPs. The legislation passed by Parliament approves the renaming of 223 residential areas and administrative districts, particularly in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv Regions.
