Ukraine won the right to host a major international forum on public procurement, the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine reports. "Procurement, Integrity Management and Openness (PRIMO) Forum, the world's largest forum on public procurement, will be held in Ukraine in 2017. The decision was taken during the PRIMO conference in Astana (Kazakhstan)," the statement reads. According to the Ministry, 2017 forum will be dedicated to fight against corruption. The decision to hold PRIMO in Ukraine was made after presentation of Ukraine’s report on the results of the reform of public procurement in Ukraine and the introduction of ProZorro electronic system of public procurement. The forum participants praised technologies and high standards of ProZorro team and expressed a desire to learn more about the Ukrainian experience in reforming one of the most corrupt areas in the country.
