"The back side of the Moon" by Leonid Kanfer got Grand Prix International Festival of patriotic documentaries held in Chernihiv.
This is a story about three days of separate company of separatists of the so-called Luhansk People's republic, an instructive story of a young man whom propaganda led to the trenches. When shooting this film, the director risked his life, having penetrated to the other side of the barricades. Jury Chairman Krzysztof Zanussi said it was the best film at the festival - "intelligent and not Soviet."
