Steinmeier hopes Savchenko release to facilitate Minsk process

"I hope and wish that today’s exchange will help build trust between Ukraine and Russia, thus providing the Minsk process with positive momentum," the minister noted in his statement, Ukrinform reported. Steinmeier added he was “glad and relieved” that Nadiya Savchenko had been released at last and that she could now return to her family in Ukraine. He called her release "good news for which we have long worked to bring about and for which we nevertheless had to wait a long time." The diplomat offered his best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ms Savchenko.
