One Ukrainian soldier killed, two wounded in east Ukraine

Over the past day, Russia-backed militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops, the army operation press centre reported on Tuesday. The separatists keep using arms that were to be withdrawn under the Minsk agreements on ceasefire – in particular, mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns. They keep shelling Ukrainian army positions near villages around militant-held Donetsk. Besides, despite the OSCE post near Stanytsia Luhanska, north-east of Luhansk, the militants shelled Ukrainian positions located there, using heavy machine guns, grenade launchers of various systems and infantry combat vehicles.
