E-petition on visa-free regime for short trips of citizens of Ukraine was submitted through the website of the House of Commons. This was informed in the Parliament Secretariat of the overseas countries. Discussion of the proposal was initiated by the Canadian of Ukrainian origin Mykola Kravets.
During the allotted time e-petition on the abolition of visas for our citizens has collected five times more signatures than the minimum necessary to submit it for consideration and also received the support of 120 deputies and senators of the Canadian Parliament, representing all four main political parties.
The government now has 45 days to prepare a written response to this request.
