“International discussions have been focused on the issue of Donbas in recent times, while the issue of Crimea is often neglected. This issue is of a particular importance for us and for our fellow Crimean Tatars. They have no other homeland apart from Crimea, it is a matter of honor for the whole Euro-Atlantic community, the entire free world that we can return this homeland to Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars,” Parubiy said at a press conference with the participation of representatives of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Kyiv on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports. He also reminded that international sanctions against the Russian Federation were introduced just after Russian President Vladimir Putin began Russia’s occupation of the Crimean peninsula.
