Separatists launch 28 attacks on Ukrainian troops in past day

Twenty-eight enemy attacks were recorded over the past day, the army operation press centre reported on Wednesday. The situation remains the tensest in Avdiyivka, north of Donetsk, and Butovka coal mine, as well as in villages near strategic southeastern seaport Mariupol, the report said. No Ukrainian servicemen were killed or injured in the conflict over the past 24 hours, presidential military spokesman Andriy Lysenko told a briefing on Wednesday.
