Kyiv's Pechersky district court has arrested 33 wells in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions developed by gas producers, which are part of Burisma Group belonged to former Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Mykola Zlochevsky.
The PGO says the non-arrest of the above-mentioned wells and fossil fuel extracted could result in the illegal sale of property. The wells were arrested as part of a pre-trial investigation started on July 7, 2014 regarding the embezzlement of funds by officials of public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia in 2010-2014 under cooperation agreements and in suspicion of tax evasion by officials of Esco-Pivnich, Pari, First Ukrainian Petroleum Company, Zond and Infox.
